Description

Licence to crenellate issued, in 1339, to Johannes de Molyns for 'mansum infra Wardam Castri Baynardi'.

A Royal licence to crenellate was granted in 1338 May 6 (Click on the date for details of this licence.).

Comments

Castle Baynard ward covers the area south of St Pauls but more precise location impossible but a waterfront property might be suggested on the bases that many other high status buildings had such a location.
